my heart breaks.
I just can't understand it.
Why kill another?
Why all this death?
Grief,
Tears,
Violence,
Fear...
How long, O Lord?!?
How long
will we kill each other?!
seeking revenge
but finding only rage.
I pray for peace.
I am reminded of the hymn,
"Song for Peace"
This is my song,
O God of all the nations,
a song of peace
for lands afar and mine.
This is my home,
the country where my heart is;
here are my hopes, my dreams,
my holy shrine;
but other hearts
in other lands are beating
with hopes and dreams
as true and high as mine.

The Zehnder twins add the "Salaam, shalom" refrain.
"Salaam" is peace in Arabic.
"Shalom" is peace in Hebrew.
