O sing to the LORD a new song;
sing to the LORD, all the earth.
Sing to the LORD, bless his name;
tell of his salvation from day to day.
Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous works among all the peoples.
For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised;
he is to be revered above all gods.
For all the gods of the peoples are idols,
but the LORD made the heavens.
Today, O Lord,
I join with all Creation
singing praise to you!
I love to sing!
I remember hearing my mother
hum happily as she went about her work at home.
There's one man in my church
who whistles as he works
a joyful sound.
The birds wake me
in the morning
with their songs of gratitude and praise.
What song shall I sing?
With what words shall I say, "Thank you!"?
What are some ways
that my very LIFE
can be a song of praise to you?
Today may my life
sing forth with
a more profound Alleluia!
